Instead of venting, I need some cheering up .......... Please
« on: September 30, 2010 - 08:33:07 PM »
Anyone could pisnmoan in a post and vent, and we would all definately try to make them feel better.

Guys, It would take 2 pages of typing for me to tell you why I wanna just crawl into a hole and give up, but instead..............I could use some happy thoughts right now OK?   I did get out of the hospital today and im ok, all went well there,   at least I hope so.   I wont gripe or vent what has happend, but really need a boost right now.  I am dead tired, and I have some things going on that require old beat up people like me to find some deep down hidden reserve to keep me going.

Oh, and Cudaguy......Yer sure grip came in from HP2 today and also got your friggin CASH   yeah CASH  you mailed from Iraq.  You got some balls my friend.   I will get started on it when I return.  I leave out Sunday morning for the Gulf of Mexico to a Chemical plant. :pullinghair: :faint:

I luv ya Alan. You are definitely a very giving person, but I also feel that you are a people pleaser. You need to do something for Al and just for Al. Be selfish & indulgent for just a weekend and kick back, relax, have an iced tea and some pie. Take Peg to a movie. I've been on this site for a few years and you have always been the A number one giving helpful guy & my hat is off to you!! :2thumbs: I remember when you got heavy metal poisoning and you were still worried about getting things out to folks. That is an admirable trait. I know you love the Lord. Remember the scripture about Mary and Martha (the two sisters. Luke 10:38). You just need to kick back and rest and be refreshed. The good Lord knows your heart and pain and he will refresh you!! And I will pray for you my friend!! Hope things improve as I know they will. Keep us posted!!

I'll rub your shoulders if you're in the area, Al  :)

Seriously, I hope everything works out as best it can.

Hi Alan!

Yes, life can be hectic and challenging at times.  And, yes you have more to drag you down then most these days.  :pullinghair:

Remember this my friend, you are loved dearly, by Peggy, your daughter, your dad and everyone here on CC.Com. Problems and life issues will pass, but those who truly care for you will still be there supporting you.

Do the little things in life that make you happy and focus on your loved ones.  If you do these things, the bad time will pass quickly.

Be safe on the road, and take care of your self.   :2thumbs:

Hey Alan,
I hope all is well or will be soon.

For the first time in my life, I reached a milestone today that may NEVER be repeated. I take it as an omen.

When doing the laundry today, I ended up with a match for every sock. An EXACT match.  :woo:

Hang in there bud!

I really need to be in 3 places at one time right now. Plus I just drove 2k miles worked 6 hrs in iowa, drove to Omha Ne, then flew 1k, then took apart my race car engine, installed doors on my Dually Wade GAVE TO ME, then mowed an acre and a quarter, then went to the hospital for injections cause I'm gonna be crippled soon and not able to work, Moms got stage 4 cancer and emphasima, dad has cancer and had a lung pulled and going down, just got the mother inlaw out of the hospital friday, and I super wanted to visit them , then I was told 2 weeks off, gotta deliver an engine which is 1300 miles away round trip plus fly out sunday morning, and the trans is acting up on my truck like 3 hrs ago.  It is deeper then that to, but I cant type it all. Takes to long.  Happy gilmore cheered me up Mike. Peggy rubs my woews and aches Wade, I am afraid the work the hospital just did is gonna fail with me not resting.  And I do have to go back to Canada.  At least I enjoy the Canadian people, they are good to work with and in my trade, they take their skills to a tee and make things good for me.
Just Canada food, fuel and lodging sucks  and I have to keep adjusting to 3 different time zones sometimes 2 to 3 in one week.  At least I can take medicine now, I had to be off all medication for a week for today.   Dang it.....long post   So Sorry.   Wade, I needed to drive to R & R speed today for some internal engine paint. Peggy said I couldnt go cause I was still on drugs and passing out on the way home. I needed it for Don's and my race engines. Im out. So I was going on fridays and stopping by to see you

Al, I'm not usually a praying kind of guy but for you I'll do my best. And for what it's worth, the Family Leave Act was also intended for people like you. It would be a very wise decision for you to look into this. It means that your employer has to grant your request for time off without repercussions if your doc has told you that you have to have down time. I know that I don't know you well, but I know enough to tell when you are really hurting and now is that time. We all love you like a brother, father, grandfather or even the ole lovin pain in the butt, but we need you to be around to be these things. So take care of yourself and let life slide by a little bit.

                              Your friend, Andy

:clueless: Hi Alan, sorry to hear of all your troubles.  :(

For myself, I know when life really gets me down, I need to find time to pray.  It really relaxes me.  Trying to get "in the mood" can be difficult but rewarding.

I really hope things work out for you and your family.  :)

Come unto me all who are weary and burdened, I shall give you rest (Matt: 11:28).
