Made in the USA, too!  I'm pretty sure I'll be picking up a big block version for the Roadrunner, and a small block one for the Barracuda.  Neither are going to be road race cars, but the extra capacity, great ground clearance, and baffles just in case are cheap insurance in the long run.  Thanks for helping Milodon with the SB pan.

I have been on back order for well over a month waiting for my 360 pan.
Anyone getting these lately?

Same here. When I placed the order in October, that said not until mid November. When I called them in November they said SEMA put that behind the curve on orders and it would be mid December. I haven't called them yet this month, but I'm hoping it is no later than mid January as by then the pan will be the only thing holding up the install of my mill.

Me too, My machinist/ engine builder wants to run the engine before he sets it free.
He's bugging me to get him the rest of the bottom end parts. (oil pan and pick up)
good to hear that I am not the only one waiting, I was worried my order did not get processed.

I mentioned to them two guys were waiting on 360 pans yesterday.

I think I sort of pushed them to get some out on the market. SEMA, Indy show, PRI all come real close and they have been busy with that stuff.

Here's the TTI clearance to the pan.

Hey AutoX, are you documenting your engine specs/build anywhere?  I just picked up a 1970's 360 from a Power Wagon that I am going to rebuild.  I still need to tear it apart and find out what condition everything is in.  I don't really have a plan yet.  I might just rebuild it, but I'm looking into stroking it.

But I'll probably end up ordering one of these pans when I get to that point!

thanks
Dave

Well,I hadn't seen this. Nice job Auto X. It looks great! Personally I swore I'd never buy a milodon again. As the rear seal indents at the top are 1/4" off factory.Might just be this one though.I can tell the difference just in your pics it's better.I'm sure they make quality products. Been around a long time. O.K. I'll consider it.As I really need a new one. And the performance design looks top notch. Didn't get a price...   Thanks!!!R/T

True, but the alternative is you buy a $200 Moroso, Kevco, etc, and then plumb in a $300 accumulator to avoid an oil problems and your suddenly spending more money with more hoses, more engine bay clutter, more chances for oil leaks, and no better oil control.

In a recent Mopar Muscle magazine there was an article on a 427 SB stroker motor built for pro-touring / track day car. That is for Tim Werner's 68 Valiant he runs at Portland International Raceway and other tracks. The Charlies Oil Pan they had that cost around the same as the Milodon did not work. They were losing oil pressure in hard turns.

Now that car has an very experianced driver and a very fast well set up car. But it exposed limits of some of the parts.

This new SB Mopar Milodon pan has the same sump that they have used and developed for years in the SB Chevies and other motors that run in SCCA class competition. Proven piece.

What does the inside of that pan look like?

Does that pan have side trap doors for side to side loads? How many? Or does it just have fore and aft doors?

There are lots of features done for pro-touring/autocross/road race that add to the cost of the pan above a drag style pan.
