« on: October 06, 2010 - 07:17:43 PM »
I think i am going to order the scat pack bee's to put on my quarter glasses like would have come from the factory and i was wondering if anyone had a picture of the proper placement.

The backing paper is angled to use as a template.

Unless someone is reproducing them without that little detail?  :dunno:

If you get the repro ones, my recommendation is to trim carefully around the bee before placing the decal in the window, if you leave it as a square decal, it doesn't look as good when installed in the window. :2cents:

It's funny such a small detail but I'm amazed how many people comment of them at show and shines. Kids really seem to notice them? Cool Mopar details! :2thumbs:

Related question, did '71 Dodges come with the scat pak bees, or was that only '70?

To expand on this question....did they come on '71 and/or '72 cars?  I remember seeing a 1972 Scat Pack ad before, it was black and white I think...  :dunno:

* Not shown for '70 is the T/A which was introduced well after the data book was published.

No mention of the Scat Pack for '72 that I can recall seeing.  :dunno:

Back to the sticker itself, I checked the 70-71 parts book for the part numbers & the only application is for 1970 cars.

I do not have '68 or '69 parts books. As far as I know the part numbers on the ones I referenced above were '70 only based on what I have here.  ;)

Reason I ask is that a while back ago, there was a memeber that made posters and I think I recall seeing a black and white poster with a 1972 Scat Pack line up.  Could be wrong...  :dunno:

Sweet! Do the decals get applied on the outside or inside window glass?
