  i have to agree with you.  Brown nos parts must be hard to find. especially a dash pad.  I wish I could find a dash pad in red, been looking for a few years now. 
Not my parts though so hopefully the sem works well for you R R.

Have you tried selling or trading the brown one for the one you need?

I wonder if you got the same one i saw for sale in Rockingham, NC a couple years ago? Brown NOS pads cannot be common.

The pad in my 73 is NOS, but it's not quite the right color blue and definitely the wrong grain, but the price was right.

I thought about that actually.  The dash even came with NOS A/C vents and you can tell they're new by how snug they are.  The ones in my Barracuda's original dash flop over if you look at them wrong!  Thing is, the flaps are black, but the vent 'surround' is the matching brown with the dash.  Thats got to be rare!  I've got another set of black vents so I'll definitely be leaving these alone at least for now...
