Need info on hood pin lanyards
« on: October 11, 2010 - 12:38:45 AM »
I'm installing a factory hood pin kit on my 73 and need to know where the lanyards mount under the hood. Seems they should screw to the inner part of the fender, but I'm not sure. Any pics would be great.

Here are some pics of my 70.  I hope they help.

They mount to a screw on the bracket.  sorry, I noticed they don't show the lanyards attached.  They attach to the small bracket next to the bolt that goes through the hood.

Found I picture.

He has a Challenger, I don't believe they use the bracket that the Cudas use.

Leave it to a Cuda person like Ron to mess up the works.   :grinyes:

Just teasin' ya Ron.    :poopoke:

This is one area where Cudas and Challengers are different. I'll post a pic of the pre-drilled hole Brad mentioned. This is a 70 Challenger, so it will not be the same for a 73, but it should be in the general area...maybe a little more towards the left    :dunno:
