Yea .... I already have the replacements, just can't figure out where they are to be mounted?  Mine were missing or removed by the time I got the car.   It is a factory A/C car.

This is a 71 B-body, but the valve mounts the same way.

That's pretty similar.   Got any shots of the brackets that hold the water valve?

Not in this computer. I'll try to dig one up or just take some new ones later this week.

hm.it sounds like you got an nos valve and got 2 pieces of metal with it?when i bought my nos water valve there was also 2 pieces of brackets with it.anyway, they are the wrong brackets, there should be only one.it mounts with 3 screws.

Swede Cuda ..... that is exactly what I thought.

VT_VermonT ..... that is a great help, but why does it appear that the water vavle is crooked?   Does the second bracket go underneath for support?

Thx .... Gary

I was pretty sure the 72 AC car used this type mix valve. (mine did) Because of their expense, most go with the all-metal mechanical type. I think you can still pick those up at some local parts stores.
