440 into 73 cuda

Looking for headers that fit. have bought two sets from summit that don't.(they said they do)

Why don't they fit?  Where are they hitting. Do you have a V-8 K-frame?

TTI or Dougs are the only headerthat I have found that will fit properly

And what starter are you using?  That's where I've had issues with Hedmans.  Like Chryco said, my next set(s) of headers will definitely be either TTI or Dougs.

I have tried hedman and flowtech(guessing same manufactor). they both hit on steering which pushes them into mini starter i purshased for this reason. will give tti a try thank u!

I'm just curious, what size are the primary tubes you are looking at?

I think no matter where you turn here, there might be some tweaking to do. Putting headers on an E-Body isn't the funnest thing I have ever done.

Where is it hitting?  Is it on the linkage or the steering gear box?  Is one tube supposed to be under the steering linkage?

Can't speak on an Ebody yet, but I can say I totally agree with you about Mopar headers in general.   Installing large tube full length headers in a big block Bbody ranks right up there with root canals and certain exams we all must get when we turn 50!

I have a 440 in my 73 and used hedman headers with no fitment problems other than the usual starter issue.
Are they still made in the USA?  If not, I can guess why they dont fit
