im thinking of sending my car out to hennessey for the hpe 600 set up what do you know about him and would it be worth it

...all I can say is PLEASE do your research about him and his business BEFORE you send a car or $$$...there is a long sordid story behind him and his operations about stripped cars, unfinished cars, missing money, etc...there is a really good reason his name can't even be used on the Viper Forums

so you say the guy is bad news iv never heard anything about the guy,i do know that the parts he sells are not his parts he buys them and puts them on the car and marks up the price.i have found all the parts he uses for sale from the makers or stores selling them,i do know that they have dealers also i wounder if they could do the job for me insteed of him,or i could just buy all the parts myself and have them put on the car myself thats what he doues right.i realy like the way the car looksand want mine to look just like it.if you say he is bad news then i wount send it to him,i can take a hint when told buy others who may know something i dont.im not rich and work hard for my money just like you guys,whitch way would you go just make one just like it myself

RUUUUUUNNNNNN away FAST!  Buyer beware.

I have NEVER seen someone as bad as this guy when it comes to ripping people off.  I know of several guys that sent their vipers to him and never seen them again.  I'm not joking... he parted them out and they are now gone!  He has more litigation against him than a team of lawyers can handle.

I don't know him or his work, but I've been a facebook friend with him for about a year now.I think he is on here but not 100% sure? He seems to do good work? Something to investigate maybe?
Tried to post a link but I can't for some reason? But on facebook his name is Dynosteve Leerentveld

If it was me....I'd enjoy the challenge of doing it myself?

...do it yourself, have your dog do it, anything but sending money and a car to him
...I know Woodhouse Chrysler in Blair Ne. is doing mods, probably many other dealers are too

PS...if your dog screws it up, at least you won't need an attorney, just have the dog put down

It's hard to believe that in this day and age that John is still able to do business and people actual think about doing business with him.  Do a google search for "John Hennessey" and you'll see that google tries to auto fill words like "Scam", "Crook" and things like that after his name.  That's pretty bad!

ok i spent about 8k so far got the brakes done the supercharger and wheels whitch you can uses any kind i picked foose as they are not part of the packadge hennessey wants 3600 for them they are ccw rims and they sell them for 2600 go figuer right.a hennessey dealer around hear told me for 12k he could do the rest and have the car cert and numberd and then it would be an hpe 600 sounds great,but i do notice all the hpe-600 cars are differnt some have turbo and some suppercharged.
