Nice looking cuda you have there. like the green colour,i'm planning on do my challenger snake skin green.

My first intention was to build a protouring car but have decided to do it more stock when it comes to the suspension i'm adding a custom rear spoiler build on the car, custom interior,Rushforth wheels,willwood breaks all around, but i'm only on the body level replaceing all the bad metal and there is lot of it.

Wow! Thanks a bunch for sharing all of this!  The pics & captions are terrific.  I wish there was a place here to preserve these types of extensive build threads where the pics wouldn't disappear over time.  I may have to cut & paste everything into a file just to be sure.  I'm not sure I'd go this route with mine as I'm leaning towards a much more stock rebuild, but part of me keeps thinking I should just go for it and max out the Barracuda similar to yours.  Looks great & thanks again for sharing!

Hi, Jim thanks, These pictures are uploaded on fquick.com so they won't disappear. Almost got the car on the road today, but it wouldn't start, and I eventually ran out of juice on my battery.

Hi guys, just wanted to tell you I got the car on the road today! I drove around town to get a feel with it. I'm not gonna put it to the test before I've had it trough an 4-wheel alignment. Have the dampers at max soft at the moment, felt comfortable on speedbumps, will stiffen it up. It did track a bit on the poor roads we have around here, but that was expected with those fat tires. It cornered flat, and the rack was very responsive and gave great feedback.  Then it started to rain.. I'll also lower it a bit in the front to get the right stance. So far I'm very satisfied with the setup :) Will report back when I get to really push it trough the bends!

Great thread.  I'm sure the car will handle well.  I have been looking to use the same suspension in one of my Challengers.  I hear it handles great.  Looking forward to hearing from you how it is.

Yeah, It worked flawlessly. I'm very happy with it! After the car was at the alignment shop I needed to roll the front fenders a bit more. The handling is amazing, you won't belive how much grip it has! Did not find a car that could shake me on the road. It takes the corners, bumps and crests so effortlessly. Point and shoot deal. It just changes direction so fast! the rack gives good feedback, the ride is firm yet comfortable. No problem to go on longer trips, can drive it all day (I did). Didn't take it to the roadrace track last year, but I plan to within a month and a half. I will lower the car a litle bit more in the rear to get the right stance. The brakes are amazing, the best I have ever experienced. It's just so fun to drive!  :clapping:

Great looking cuda.  Thanks for all the pictures , I put in the same xv kit and learned a lot from your pictures. I'm glad to hear you like it.
What proportional valve did you use for your brakes and were did you mount the front flexable brake hoses to ?

I used the Wilwood block with the manual rear adjust on it. Worked great. However, now I've put in a brand new original dist.block and new hardlines. The XV brake system is designed to use the original stuff. They have built the bias into the system and sized the calipers and pistons in that regard. They have also designed it for use with a hydraboost. The brakehoses was just mounted like the stock ones. Didn't care to much about the additional fastners on the StopTech hoses. The DMV guy didn't either. ;)
