Robert,

She is here in colorado.  Right up the mountain from me.  I owned this car for some time and now it sits up at about 10,000 feet.  So, that should have at least stopped all the rust for now.

There is no rear end under her.  The front wheels do move, not sure if they hold air.  Probably not.

I would be glad to go up there and help getting it on a trailer.  I used two engine hoists to get her on and off before.

Is the car complete other than the missing rear end?

Mostly complete, yes.
It has been a few years since I went through the parts.
I took them all off and I do remember the car being mostly complete.
I will try to post a few pics here.

There is a good chance that another member here might be picking it up in the next week to two.  I do believe it is spoken for at this moment.

Stay tuned.

Oh wait,,,,  I just read my messages and it seems that this car will be purchased this Sunday.

I am very happy that this car is going to be used.  Hopefully put back together.

  Stay tuned.

Yup, short of an unanticipated blizzard, its coming over to my house to live after this weekend. Looks like I'll have to kick the Stealth out of the garage for the space.

It will go back together in some form. I've always wanted to get a basic chassis to build a dedicated track car from, so this may be the unit for it. I've got some of the old Kit Car Program literature that shows some pretty detailed layouts of the cage and chassis. I'm thinking a vintage racing class like RMVRA or NASAs American Iron series. So I may be selling off some pieces of it along the way, but retaining the main uni-body structure.

The car is now in Colorado Springs.  Will post a few pics.

It was quite the adventure.

Yup, just got it parked in its new temporary spot. Hoping after the holidays to clear out enough space to get it into the garage. In teh meantime, got the windows rolled up and the cover over it. Hope to hang some body panels back on it next weekend.

Yes, I haven't had an adventure of this sort in a long time. Glad to be home and looking forward to the pictures!

Thanks Josh!

Here are some pictures from the pick up.

This really is a very cool truck.  Longest thing on the road.  It's huge.  and a 74.

On the way down, I had to take the load as my truck was a 4x4.

Lots of fun !!

Thanks for posting those up!

Yes, it was an adventure unlike any I've had in a few years. It's hard to imagine how a few inches of snow can so dramatically change things.

Thanks for the compliments on the truck. It has been an ongoing project for many years.  It's finally down to only a  few things to complete, engine bay wiring, a/c hookup, and paint. Everything else under it is new or  rebuilt.

And even though it is a truck, it still costs as much to restore as any hot rod.

Ait that the truth. However, unlike an E body, they made the same basic design from 72-92, so there are still lot sof parts that are cheap and easy to find in the yards. I've upgraded a lot of parts in it along the way and it is much nicer than it ever rolled out of the factory.

Here is the Challenger as of today. I put all the parts back on it because it is much easier to store everything on a rolling chassis than it is finding floor space in my already crowded garage. Plus I need the back of the truck clear for other stuff. Today the weather was nice enouhg my Bro and I stabbed in a 318/904 that was sitting in the corner of the garage taking up space. A few more weekends of cleaning and I just might have room for it next to my 74.
