Put in another 4.5 hours at the body shop yesterday (Friday), and the outcome? She's completely on her wheels.... but of course not without a few problems... I got there and she was on her wheels, but not sitting right... the ass end was jacked up really high and the front end looked like a low rider (kinda cool, but NOT right!) Turns out, the rear leaf springs that I bought from Rev's brother that I thought (and he told me) were Super Stock springs, aren't (or at least didn't fit right!) They were about 2.5" too short, which caused the rear shackles to buckle upwards to the underside of the trunk (hence the ass end jacked up)... banghead banghead banghead So up onto jackstands went the rear and we pulled the other leafs (original to the 8 3/4 rear) out of storage, cleaned them up and sprayed them with gloss black (rattle can job this time!)... I pulled the SS leafs out, put these "new" ones in, bolted everything back together and dropped her back down... VIOLA!! Perfect ride height in back now!! And, it also leveled out the front, which was still sitting low as we were in the process of getting the torsion bars cleaned up and in.... got those in and backed all the way down, and that's how she sits right now... drop that motor and tranny in, jack up the torsion bars a little and BHAM!! Cruizin' time!! dogpile burnout burnout burnout
