It is going to Germany in a couple of months time. I am in the process of fitting Stealth Heads for the new owner. Something I would have liked to have done for myself if I could have afforded it.

so....Im guessing he's flipping it.

I really like those pictures and the color. The engine shots really show the difference between the body and engine hemi orange colors. They are different. Hemi-orange  definitely looks more red in the right light.

Update.

I am really missing it now. :-(

Alex, the new owner, still has the car but has had some problems since (such as the charging circuit not working) but overall he is enjoying owning it and it gets a lot of attention in Germany. So much so that a couple of his friends have since bought Challengers too.

I bought a 2002 Corvette to give me time to think what i want to do.

Recently I have been getting a strong temptation to put a wanted ad on here. I am thinking maybe a T/A or AAR clone would be very nice.....

...or maybe a '69 Coronet or a Hot Rod 1950s Dodge pick-up.....

...but then I drive the Corvette somewhere and it starts and drives, needs no regular attention, and gets good gas mileage and ran a 13.5 on the strip and has good air con and heater, pretty good sound system etc etc....
But it lacks something.... :(

Recommend against the "clone" route unless you have $ to burn and a low satisfaction meter.  They just wind up costing too much $ to build and in the end, low resale value.  If you like the look of a T/A or AAR, then get a real one.

Can't afford a real one which is why I had to sell the 440 R/T. I probably wouldn't have much more than $15,000 to spend. :(
