My 71 Duster
440
ported iron 516 heads decked .025
 Mopar .590 mech cam
6 pack flat top pistons
Team G intake / Str 14 / Torker 2
850 holley DP / 950 Holley 3 bbl / 1050 Dominator
Mopar chrome box ign
 clutch fan , 26" rad
Hooker fenderwell headers into 3" pipes/ mufflers
 Lakewood blastsheild
11" Feramic clutch , burned bright blue from slipping
A833 OD trans with 3.09 1st gear ratio
8 3/4 diff 3.23 / 4.30 gears / Mark Williams axles
 32" ladderbars with floaters
29x 10.5 slicks
6 pack hood scoop sealed to carb
Full street legal car , 3440 lbs with me in it
Full roll cage frame connectors etc
 ran 12.1 with the 850carb  & 3.23 gears
ran 11.9 with 4.30 gears but twisted both axles so I had to replace them with MW
dropped to 11.8 with 950 carb
dropped to 11.7 with 10.50 dominator
Team G intake was the best , the STR worked great too but no bottom end power , torker 2 limited top end power .
I shifted at 7200 rpm & the engine was still pulling hard
Best ever was 11.76 @ 118.2 mph , the car left with the front wheels dangling 2' on every pass & would pull them on the street too even without the slicks . It was never trailered just driven to the track !

Over on another forum I belong to the common theme is "pics or it didn't happen".

I think on this thread it should be "slips or it didn't happen" if it is a current combo. C'mon guys we all got one and my best one is always in the console waiting to be replaced. Unfortunately it is a 12.00 slip and doesn't qualify for this thread.

If I ever get to run this new engine down the track on a full pass - I will post the slip - cuz I'm quite certain it will meet criteria.

As promised - ran her @ 11.79 last night. Still have a lot of work to do traction wise and she better get quite a bit quicker to justify the cash spent but not bad so far.
