I put a collection together of all photos plus several i just took here:
http://Http://s1194.photobucket.com/albums/aa380/mikecuda/So, many of you read about all the drama with this one. Short story is I paid WAY too much for this and don't have the heart to sink more into it. So, because people were good to me here I'll post the car here, asking 12k. I am available most saturdays if you want to take a look at it (i'd encourage that ). Please email me with questions michael dot emond at gmail dot com. I'll get some pictures up and link to them. If it doesn't sell here after a few months I'll stick it on ebay and see how it does. Anyway it was delivered today and is sitting in my storage unit in southern nh. Here is what the previous owner advertized as (with some corrections or additions that he somehow forgot to mention). I have not touched the car aside from getting it off the truck and into storage.
1971 Cuda - Mopar B5 blue in and out,
340, auto, power steering, (currently has a tired 318 and bad tranny but drives)
power brakes, disc brakes, bucket seats,
column shift, factory AIR Conditioned '71 Cuda,
needs restoration work,
No grill, runs and drives as is,
Only saw one quarter sized hole of rust through (I was told it was 99% rust free- that's just wrong but it is very solid even underneath.
Great Cuda for a 1971 440 or 426 Hemi clone
project car or a full 340 original restoration.
What it is is a REAL 1971 BS23 H1B Cuda
with the original gilled fenders and
it's a factory air car and
still has the original paint job on the car.
This is an original California Cuda,
What you see is what you get,
a super solid California E-body with a
BS23 code in a 1971 H1B body.
So you'll definately need to do something about the engine and transmission and the body has several spots that will need attention. Lots of parts are in the car and trunk but I havent gone through them to see what all is there. I'll try to post more later on. Thanks for looking.
Mike
