Anyone know of any decent priced shipping companies, please let me know!   :2thumbs:

It will cost a lot (I  expect it to run $900 to $1,400).  I'm sure I'll lose money on this project, but it will not be the first time or the last time someone loses money on a project.

Your new car is about an hour from me.(I'm in Mass) & I just sold one of my cars to a guy Fargo, ND. I know he is looking for transport to Fargo which is sort of on the way to you. I don't know if you guys could do something together or not. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Might be worth looking in to.  Feel free to give him my email *codyreich at comcast dot net* or let me know his.

Thanks!

I have not used this guy, but I have seen good comments about him on FABO.

Jim is his name, TruelyVintage is his tag.

Here is the link to his latest route's.

He has a pretty good reputation from what I hear. He also can carry 2 cars at once. There's also a guy out of NY. 9 sec phil - His name is Phil Grover he's on Moparts. He can only do one at a time though but I've met him before.

Thanks for the link and suggestion.  I left a message with Jim.  Sounds like he might be a good guy to work with.  IF he can't do it, I'll contact Phil.

Thanks guys!

Thanks Russ.  I'm happy to have the car, however I know it will take a lot of time and money to restore it.

The 340 is not with the car, but the rest of the car appears to be there.  I will start trying to track down the motor next spring, but not holding out hope of finding it.  If I don't find the original 340 I might put a 440+6 motor I have in it and change it to a 4 speed.  It will stay B5 blue!  Love B5 Blue ebodies.

Cody, how many miles is it from where the Cuda is to you? I have a connection with a guy that 'farms' out shipping. I've used him quite a few times. Drop me an email and I can put you in touch with him or help set it up.

I've contacted a few companies and the guy Chris uses looks like he might be heading this way and will work me a good deal.   Thanks!

Don't know who to recommend , just know enough to tell you to stay as far away as possible from DAS . :stomp: They did about 4K damage to my car shipping it and took 4 months! :banghead:

I've used Phil Grover before. Good guy.  He shipped my 71 Demon from Portland to North Dakota.

I used this guy Jim from the "For A Bodies Only" website for shipping this 71 cuda and things are not looking good.   I'm having some issues after he's already picked up the car.  I will be sure to update everyone on the final result once this is over.
