I used this guy Jim from the "For A Bodies Only" website for shipping this 71 cuda and things are not looking good.   I'm having some issues after he's already picked up the car.  I will be sure to update everyone on the final result once this is over.

Have you had problems with that fella also?

I didn't mean to send you to someone who has problems.

I have seen many a trip he has taken without any complaints from members so I thought he was good.

Sorry bout that.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Found it!  Thanks.

Also, once I have the car in my shop I will tell the story of why the car was left half way across the country.  You guys will love this!

I need transport from Fargo ND 58103 to Vancouver, WA 98661.

Jim at Trulyvintage was hired to bring my car all the way for $2,411.70 and half way along the delivery told me it would be another $1,000 ($3,411.70) if I wanted my car. He left my car along the route and I now need it delivered the rest of the way.

I know where my car is at and wanted to check to see if anyone is coming this way?

Thanks!

Sounds like Jim will be losing a lot of business.

I'm 3 hours north of Fargo, if I can help, let me know.......  Moparphilll (on Moparts) lives in Fargo.  He may know someone.

REALLY?   What a crook! Hope he can run faster scared than you can mad! :villagers:  What an extortionist!
DAS did a similar thing to me, only they only wanted $380 extra as my car was now "inoperable" ??? When it came ( 4 months later!) the steering column was messed up drive shaft hanging , rear end grenaded and the tranny puking all over the place rubber all over the quarter panel.  Oh and also they were nice enough to smash the front valence too.! But other than that it was a great experience!
Seems like a crooked business with many "sharks"

This guy posts on moparts like everyday. Someone needs to make sure the story gets over there as well. I'm reluctant to post it since I'm sort of a newbie there it might be better received if it comes from someone  better known that's been around longer.

I've posted on 3 boards that I could find him on (moparts included).

Jim was great to work with before the car was picked up, but when I said no to the extra charge he came unglued!  Threaten to leave my car at his friends in Ohio.  He hung up on me.  Thankfully the guy in ND has been holding on to the car until I can get it the rest of the way.

Cody,

Sorry to hear about that.  It's too bad people aren't good for their word anymore.

You could always have it sent to Pittsburgh.  I promise I'd take good care of it...
