Don, since I don't know I'll risk asking a dumbo question. Will the 8 point cage fit in stock interrior or will mods in the dash area be required?

Doesn't look like any dash mods, but certainly carpet, rear interior panels, etc.

540 something, bore 60 over and running 10 psi boost with equal time on street and strip. A little expensive cruising around but what a ride. The year before last I went through 5 sets of street tire and 2 sets of slicks. My neighbors hate me and the road to my house has extra stripes...lol

Don, I was kinda thinking that eventualy you would be getting into more track than street.  So I thought the next journey would be to the shop in Baton rouge where you could get a custom chrome moly cage built for your car at the other shop. Every thing is down there to build what you desire.  And my partner is a certified welder. He also has a license to build bickel chassis type cars.   You have to comit before the slaughter tho.  The dash is no problem

Alan,

You are correct as usual.  The car will end up more of a track car than a street car, but curise to local shows or be trailored far distances as I have access to a trailer any time I need it.  Im ready to pull the trigger on any needs you feel is nessesary eg. cage, heavy duty frame connectors 3x4 thru the floor, removal of heavy parts ect.  I know the engine you are building is going to be too much for a normal street/strip car and have come to terms with my "stock look obsession" and am of the mind that this car should be more like a SS type car, just not tubbed or mini'd.  You know me Im commited to the project and it wont be done till you say it is!  I know, I know... "just send money" LOL!!!  I have also started resourcing some old school light weight alum rims for the car, I will get back to you on that when you start specing the Dana to cut, so the Rallys and BFGs will go into the extra parts pile.  Its good to have you back into these fourms, I know life has been hard on you and Peggy lately and Im just glad your here with us friend, we have missed you, please let us know if you guys need anything.

I love seeing all the different set-ups people have on here. A lot of stuff done to motors that I personally wouldn't have even thought of doing, at least not to those specific engines. Keep up the good work guys! And thanks for showing pics, love looking at stuff like that.

Looks good.  What plug wires are you running and what kind of hold downs?

No you don't.
I took the superstreet win and 3rd top qualified in Superstreet at last year's MoparMuscle running a 7.6 and I've only got small uni's and yokes.
Granted that yours will be harder on them being a 4sp and a heavier car.

Hey,that pic above...is that DaveDart's tilt tray you're on?
