6-Pack
« on: January 14, 2002 - 05:04:11 AM »
Are the 6-Pack setups as tough to tune as they look?  Is there a good book about tuning/modification for this setup?  I'm thinking about putting one on my 440.

THEY ARE MORE INTIMIDATING than they really are the tune with pretty much the same adjustments as a 4 bbl. By the way Ross the end carbs have mixture screws in the base plate under the bowls turn them in to bottom & open them 1/2 a turn ;)

What is the difference between the 1971 6-Pack setup and the 1969 - 1970?  I was looking at the 6-Pack packages from Koller Dodge and they list 2 different part numbers.

What type of pieces are you using for the FI setup?

It will be several months before I'm even ready to pull the engine.  I'm still acquiring parts a piece at a time!

At this point I`m using the cheapest parts available just to get it proven but I will market them with M1 intakes, new injecters speced to the hp level needed, home built fuel rails, generic sensors for easy replacement if one fails, my friend who is an engineer is working on the computer end, & we are looking into different throttle bodies these tend to be expensive & still not flow enough air ;)
