Anybody know the percentage of the total cost of the vehicle, versus the percentage of the cost to add similar options to, say, a 70 Challenger?

I remember reading an article in Car and Driver back in the day about the Lamborghini Countach. They referred to the wing as the "Hyundai wing," and I couldn't figure out why until they got to the price: $5,000, as much as a new Hyundai Excel at the time.

The stripe doesn't work since it only goes halfway down the car.   

I can see the rear spoiler is a go-wing. So if the hood is fiberglass like the original T/A style hoods, this price might be only slightly outrageous.

I'm a sucker! If was getting a new Challenger I would HAVE to have that hood! I don't care much for the stripe either! Or the rear spoiler for that matter? From what I can see it reminds me of the goofy spoiler they put on the last year of IROC Camaro's?  The hood and body area  in front of the hood should be satin black! And a T/A style stripe!

$1800.00? Bullsh*t....For a damn hood? It better do something else besides just sit there and LOOK as if your car will fly for that kinda coin..That's nothing but dealers ripping people off that want to be the first ones out there with the T/A hood, just like they did when the Challengers came out in '08...

   My T/A hood after buying it, shipping it,  paying for prepping and painting it....I have pretty darn close to $1500 into it. So if ya look at it that way it's $300 for the stripes and rear spoiler? Still hate those stripes though.....

My point exactly..
They sell these things at Carlisle every year for a tad over $600.00 and you carry it home...AAR Fiberglass...
