Need Help with Canton Oil Accumulator

I want to purchase the Canton 3-Quart Oil Accumulator for my 73 Challenger w/572 Hemi. It's has an aluminum World Block and I'm not sure where to plumb the accumulator on the block. Front, Rear, not sure???
I want to use it as a pre-luber too and possibly use an oil cooler, remote filter, oil thermostat valve too, since i think you can purchase that stuff through Canton.
Any help and/or suggistions/opinions out there? Want to do this right!

Canton sells an adaptor that mounts to your oil filter pad, but on a big block I would think that there is another way to plumb your lines.
Rick Ehrenburg over at Mopar Action has one plumbed on his big block Road runner and I think he has it plumbed the the oil pressure gauge port at the back of the block.
He may have machined the port larger before the engine was built.

I want to put one my hemi but I haven't ordered one yet.  Popular hotrodding magazine just installed one on their project olds in December 2010 issue. It's not online yet but here is a little article with some decent info on it.

Use the adaptor plate they sell for the filter mount and if it was me I'd also use the electric solenoid for it. I wired it with a three position switch so you can prelube. Otherwise you have to open the valve with a cable which to me was just too hoaky.

I wonder if it would fit under the cowl ( under the cowl screens) gets the weight back and keeps the engine bay clear? As long as the wiper arms clear too?
 On my BB Buick I used an oil cooler( about 4x4x27") and a remote oil filter off a Nascar cup car . The cooler worked TOO well oil wouldn't get up to temperature! So I had to pop rivet an aluminum plate over the opening with a small slot to let just a little air in. It sure is efficient!

They wont fit in the cowl, with or without wipers... Way too tight there. I stuck it inside the pass side fender under a pretective plate, totally hidden.

Well, thanks guys! I wound up purchasing the 3qt. accumulator with the liquid-filled guageand with the EPC valve 35-40psi & switch so I can use it as a pre-oiler too.  That's actuallly what I really wanted it for anyway as I really don't plan on any racing and/or abrupt changes in direction that could force the accumulator to do its thing.......but i guess it's good insurance.  Got the billet clamps since i want to have the pump where it's visible....not sure where that is yet though.  Somefriends have suggested the trunk but that seems just a bit too far from the engine compartment so I guess we'll see. 
Also decided to order the canton oil thermostat and a cooler for running long periods in hot weather, etc.  The accumulator is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.  Can't wait to see it in person.  Thanks again all.

The roundy round guys stick them in the cabin and trunk but I always thought it wasnt as effective pushing back through all that hose...lol. Plus expensive with the braid you need.
