How much HP will that set up work with? How much is your car putting out right now? I do not think the top mount would hold up with hight HP. It might rip out of the body I would think a tube would work better than the sheet metal it is mounted to. Nice car is it a real AAR?
I'll have to check out the HP specs, but there are two versions of the LCA in the rear suspension. I have the narrow verison. My car probably puts out 300 hp at the crank. But I'm just guessing. I ripped my top mount, becouse I welded it in a little to low.. Stupid mistake. Had to grind it loose again and then the metal probably was a bit thin. So after I riped it I added a bigger reinforcemant plate and put a bolt and nut trough the whole floor/plate/mount sandwich to hold it together. Then I did lots of donuts and everything I could to brake it.
