Never seen that one before. Although there was a Chevelle with a Duramax.

I don't know if you could get a suspension under the car that could hold up that much weight.  :dunno:
If I cant fix it, it's broke

According to these guys a "5.9 weighs 1020 pounds , a fully dressed big block will weigh around 700"

I measured it up & I believe it can be done with a dry sump low profile pan & something for a hood scoop , not sure what could be used for a tranny that would stand up to the torque & still fit in the car . the engine weight is within reason but with a HD cast iron trans & given the limited frame strength , I think you would have to do a full tube chassis & install the body on that . It would be a very cool project to build & drive

I think a B Body would be a better fit.

Check this out.

I don't think a B body would even be a good fit. I owned one of those 1st gen. Monte Carlos and the engine bay is loooong! With a Chevy smallblock in one the fan shroud looked like half of a 55 gallon oil drum, and the Cummins in the one in the video filled the whole bay!

It's like arm pit hair on a woman, just because you can doesn't mean it's good.

An ebody is sexy and a pleasure to look at.  A diesel is arm pit hair.

Please don't do it.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

A Cummins in a Station Wagon or even a C body might be a good consideration. I think a Big Fury would make a great candidate for one.
