Finally, My T/A Has Arrived!
« on: November 22, 2010 - 12:34:05 AM »
Hey everyone,

Ever since I first laid eyes on the 70 T/A in a sales brochure when I was 14, I have longed to own one.  After much to do regarding the shipping (purchased on 09/29/10), that desire finally came true and oh what a beauty she is.  To start with, this is a true Rust Free 40k mile car, with the original 340 TA block, heads, valve covers, air cleaner, 6 Pack carbs, Intake & Exhaust Manifolds, TA Hood, 3.55 Suregrip rearend, Rallye Dash Instrumentation, 15" Rallye Wheels/complete jack assembly, and from what I can tell all rust free sheet metal.  The 727 was freshly rebuilt, but not original.  My plan is to install new seat covers (still has the originals), get all of the gauges working properly, new shocks, a tune up/safety check and drive it! With all of the help I have received from everyone here and will continue to need, I will become a full fledged c-c member & on the T/A Registery (thanks Barry for all of your help).

ps: this new addition means my 1970 Plum Crazy 340HP Challenger will be going up on the sale block in the near future.

Schweeeeet!!!!  :ylsuper:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
