    I know they are not that strong at the auctions overall at the moment. Get a Manhiem market report from somebody.

    I would not.  Car has some very serious damage on the rockers and even if you did fix it the salvage title will scare alot of people if you ever go to sell it after it is repaired.  Your right, it is ashame.
