I think the Charger looks  :puke: Let's if this is Dodge's idea of the Charger I hope the dont bring back the challenger. I saw a cuda concept a few years ago and it looked JUST like a 70 cuda did.  Dodge should bring back the scat pak.  :fire:  :burnout:

They can build all they want, they will never build em like the ones we see on these pages every day. If I was gonna spend that much for one of those, I would put my money into one of these and have a real classic.

ford has it, but i dont think gm or chrysler do.  the gto is a joke, the fbod is dead, the corvette is ok but really more a continuation of the previous model...  the neon is going rice, the viper is ok i guess, but the body looks like an s2000 on roids.  i love the gt and im quite impressed with the new mustang.  i give ford a lot of credit.

The gearheads can wail and bemoan the fact all day long. But try to convince Chrysler (Daimler) in the face of the success of the 300C and Magnum that this avenue for the Charger is wrong. Sure every purist (myself included) think its the most abhorrent thing since the Aztec, but with sales and profits being the bottom line - well.
As Lee Iacocca called us many moons ago "...an insignificant market segment."

6pak you wouldnt be suggesting that DC is their own competition by having another 300 on the road? Whats next, a charger wagon to compete with the magnum.

:gripe:  :gripe:  Don't put it past them, if they think it would sell they would come up with a New Yorker R/T Challenger. (to keep up with the Caddy's) They have lost my respect in the automobile end of the business, I like their trucks but they haven't impressed me much in the car department with one exception.

By the way, Don't you ever go to bed Burpin??  :dontknow:
