I hope you keep the Gran Coupe trim & Argent paint on the tail panel!
Even tho you are going for a modified street look, i'd hate to see it lose its original GC identity...

Here is my Blue on Blue GC (With Black vinyl roof), just to give you an idea what it could look like colorwise:

Time to catch up. Decided to get rid of subframes and build custom frame rails from bumper to bumper. The frame rails will kick up into the car to allow a lower ride height.

Cabin frame rails are fully boxed and ride through the floor instead of just tying at the ends

Rear frame rails will no longer angle to the rear corners. The rails will parallel the wheel tubs and then kick out to the corners once they've passed the wheel tubs.

Since the rear frame rails changed, the trunk pan had to be changed.

Next up: wheel tubs. The tubs are moved up into the car to get a nice low ride with the some thick tires.

Hung the quarters on and set it at ride height so I could try to find a good tire width/diameter

Bought some 315s off craigslist for mockup but they are too small.

I ordered 3 piece forged Forgeline wheels through Matt's Classic Bowties. Matts service/communication was excellent and the price was great as well. Rears are 20x12 and fronts are 19x9. For rear tires I was set on Michelin super sport 345's but Michelin was out of stock and strung me along for 4 months before I settled on some new Michelin 335's on eBay. They were new/never mounted with recent date codes (be careful on "new tire" age on eBay).
