I'm Thankful this Thanksgiving!!
« on: November 23, 2010 - 09:06:06 PM »
All my friends, my family, my little Cat and the fun things I did over this last year. And living where I do here in the U.S.A. I fell grateful inside right now.

What I'm also thankful for now is that I got a job today. Its been a long haul trying to get the right type of job and I got it!! The weight and anxiety since May has been lifted from my shoulders. Thank you God for listening to my prayers.

I'm also thankful for the members here.
Everyone here makes this a great place to go to.

Have a great Thanksgiving!!
-Mike

Congratulations Mike!

I just started my 7th week at my new job. Lower pay, but I am quite happy to be there.

The type of work I'll be doing is Business Development in the Bay Area peninsula for Interstate Batteries. Recently, they went direct to public sales for every type of battery you can think of and then some you wouldn't of imagined. This is a new sales campaign from Interstate. Before they distributed. Now its direct.

My new boss and I will be spearheading the new business development for the territories. In the future, they will be opening 2 stores. For now, I will be going to businesses to get us jump started.

I wont get started for probably 3 weeks.
I'm heading to Plano TX. for training Dec 3rd.

:woo:   Great news ... Best of luck

We have an Interstate store in town but I don't think 99% of the people know about it. They have great product, service & competitive prices but never advertise/promote.
