I was thinking of doing it to my GC even through some wont think it right for a true numbers car

My car had the 71 rocker moldings. Aren't those clear anodized?
If they are, and you decide to polish them. Then clear coat or better yet, clear powder coat after.
.
With some nice aftermarket chrome wheels, it would look sharp.

well the ones from the GC are painted argent from the factory

i'm going to keep mine painted argent. i guess polsihing wouldn't hurt cause if you didn't like it, you could always paint them!

Are the 70 & 71 GC moldings different? I think they are.

I think they would look good polished and clear coated.
