    Anyone running aftermarket seats? New not junkyard specials.  What kind and any pics would be nice.  I have been looking at the Summit, Overhaulin style.

    heres a poopy shot of them.They don't look like those ugly overhaulin ones,omg those were horrid.

    Not hard i just wanted to use my stock tracks off my orgional seats and make them bolt into the stock holes in the floor. Just takes some time and measuring,welding ,etc

    if you dont use your original tracks what is the other option. does it come with its own tracks or what?

    yah they come with tracks but are pretty chessy looking and made to me.

    I know Cobra makes a lot of diffent styles and have the brackets to mount them in an e-body.   That is what I have been eye balling for my car.  Found a site that was a reference from an Overhaulin' episode that has them.  The look like they can get pretty pricy though.

    Just wondering why you don't want to go with stock.  Also,  if you're going with aftermarket, I see no reason to keep the tracks either.  Maybe it's just the way my butt's built, I find the stock seats plenty comfy.

    for temporary seating I put a pair out of a dodge shadow in my cuda until the Honda seats are recovered. The practically fell in place only had to modify the right front mount the rest lined right up

    I want a custom look and better feel.  The original track helps keep the seat in the original location.

    I am in the same boat with Lime.  I love the look of all the B & E bodies, but my only complaint is in the interior dept.  I was never a fan of the seat styling. With my project, I just want to build the car I would like to have and drive.  Trying to keep the classic style, look, and intension, but update it a bit.
