Looks great!

BTW...are you also  going to paint your hood hinges (and bolts), fender bolts, and battery tray?

Are you afraid that you may now want to re-paint your whole car?

Thanks!  I'll definitely be painting those items as well.  I'm still trying to decide on the best method for it.  And no, I'm not afraid I'll want to paint the whole car.  I was barely able to do the engine bay!  A painter I'm not...

The K-Frame is done and in.  That was too easy....  The problem is, I'm starting to lose interest.  Tired of cleaning parts!  I'll be glad when it's done...

Some progress, while I'm waiting on my front end parts to arrive (come on, UPS), I'm a blasting and painting fool.  My compressor will be glad when the blasting is done, it's been working overtime!

Control arms and one spindle...

Progress today.  Installed the master cylinder and front brake lines.  The front light harness is cleaned up, retaped, and installed.  Slowly it's coming....

More progress today.  Suspension kit finally came!  I was able to get the passenger side suspension on.  With some luck, maybe I'll have the motor in this weekend....we'll see....

mapandjlp, just keep reminding yourself why you wanted to go this far once that engine came out...

I know all too well about tired of cleaning parts, but you gotta figure, it took 30 plus years for all that crap to get onto that poor car...You've taken all of it off and turned the clock back over 40 years in three short months...That's NO SMALL FEAT! BTW: Helluva job man, heluva job...I'm looking at having to do this very thing on 4 FOUR cars...One at a time, one at a time....True, it prolly won't be done to this level of "amazingness", but I have to do it none the less...

Thanks, Cooter.  Very kind words and much appreciated.  It's a real motivator to get good feedback on a project!  I'll keep on keepin' on!

Serious progress today.  The brakes are completely together, new lines front and rear.  Swapped to discs on the front.  The engine's in as well.  Coming along nicely!

Further progress yesterday.  Installed trans, driveshaft, starter, blower motor, wiper motor, misc. stuff.  I'm so ready to hear this thing run!
