Wow, you've done a heck of a lot to this!  I've been watching the whole time because this is what I'm hoping to do in a month or 2, detail out the engine compartment while the engine is out.  One heck of a job.

I understand you on the rolling resto comment.  These cars are too fun to give up for cruising season!

It's running!  I'm still working on fine tuning everything (this Thumpr cam is a bit obnoxious) but it's coming along.  I took it around the block and I must say, this thing is quick!  Looking forward to getting it all back together and taking it for a REAL drive!

Man, that's a lot of work! It's worth it though, 'cause it looks better than new. Now I know what I've got to shoot for. Enjoy! :2thumbs:

Here are a couple from last weekend.  One fender is on.  You'll notice in the second pic that the temperature control valve is missing.  Had what's commonly known as, "catastrophic failure".  During a jaunt around the neighborhood, it decided to let loose.  Made a mess!  Anyone know a good place to score a new one???

Finally was able to get the underside of the hood prepped and painted today.  The hinges are done as well.  Back together next weekend!

Classic Auto Air in Tampa has the Heater Control Valves for A/C cars for around $50.  I got my Evaporatior box done there and they sold me one for around that price. Give them a call.

What a big difference from the before picture.

You might want to start linking your pictures, in the entire thread, to the photobucket images. You are going to lose them here soon.
Keep up the great work.
