    A little update.  My dad is out of sicu and into another room.  His vital signs are stable as far as heart goes. But he is mentally regressing today and kinda being mean towards everyone.  We are going through the first steps of therapy tomorrow, but they say it could take some time and that he may never be able to be by himself alone again.  Seems as of now, he will only be nice and try to talk to my wife Peggy. But he doesn't make any sense in what he says, just smiles as he talks.  I am happy he is alive and atleast responding in any way.

    Al you need to remember that his brain was swollen and will take time to be normal again and that can be very painful. You have a good wife who is strong, allow her to care for him more so you can build up your strength for your operation then all of you can have peace.   :angelwings:

    Been on vacation and just got back on in several days.  Glas your dad is doing better Alan.  :thumbsup:  Certainly great news.

    He's had major surgery and it'll take a bit before he gets better.  I'm sure your just happy to see his smile.  :)

    It has been a really tuff day n night. My dad isn't doing so good and Im camped out here in his room. Hoping for the best. But Im ready to explode.  Sorry, I had to vent. He hasn't been awake or moving since last night. And the things that happend put him in shock.
