I had an uncle with a very aggressive brain tumor who was given less than six months by the local hospital.  They took the initial tumor out and within a month it had grown back to twice the original size.  After initially dealing with the depression that set in with him, we (the family) finally encourage him to be aggressive with the fight and with the help of the folks at MD Anderson in Houston, lived for 7 good years.   It is a tough road and I am hoping for the best for your Dad, you and your family.

:angelwings:  Al both you and your Father are constantly in my prayers, hand everything over to God and let Him carry the burden. You are a good man because of your Father, get some rest or you will get worse yourself.   :angelwings:

Everyone, it has been very tuff. I am very tired and on my way back to the hospital in a few minutes. the surgery took a little longer than it was suposed to. The tumor had grown to be 3 inches . When they cut dads skull open, the doctor said his brain pushed out of his skull becuase of how big it swelled. We have him in ICU right now.   BUT HE MADE IT......... :bananasmi :bananasmi :bananasmi :woo: :woo: :woo:

He seemed fine last night resting comfortable.  The doctor says he will have it very ruff the next couple of days at his age and his condition.   I myself am sure he will pull through now.  He cant hear yet and is in and out of it right now.  Everyones thoughts and prayers came through for him.  I just about collasped , when I answered the red phone in the waiting room.  I had to get bymyself in private and let out some relief.  I thank everyone for being in my corner through this. I had to deal with one of my brothers the last 2 days too.  He was causing problems. big problems making it hard for me to hang on.   He wouldnt go to the hospital and was acting a bit out of control.  I had to remind him that if he said anything elese, he would be in ICU in a room next to him.

thanks everyone.    I needed support from you guys.     dad will be fine. I know he will

Al,
That is absolutely great news!  :woohoo:  Made my day!!!  It's great to hear a little good news every once in a while.  I'm sure he's not totally out of the woods yet, but it sounds like he's over the major hurdle now and on the road to recovery.

Best wishes to all!

Sean
