Thanks guys, The rims are Torq Thrust 2s( rears  245/40/17 17x8 205/50/17 17x7 fronts) I cant remember what backspacing i used.

paint will be b5 or Viper gray like the 69 Charger with the 5.7 Hemi in it. Seen on P.H.R.T.V

the body is in great shape the only panel that has to be replace is the wiper cowl.

Engine will be A 360 with Mancini stroker kit, Indy heads 727  8 3/4 with 3.91s

I have looked into to tubular k-members with coil overs.
I really want my car to handle well but still run like raped ape.

came with a white vinyl top havent decied if i was going to replace it or not.

btw im from Little Rock Arkansas didnt mention that.

thanks
Chris

Welcome Chris, that's a good one for sure, mine is a 70 original 318 car too and I'm starting out similar and even checked into the after market suspension as well. I ended up rebuilding my factory suspension and am glad I did. (saved a bunch of $$$, I ended up going with the heavier torsion bars and poly suspension bushings to stiffen things up too. There are others who have used the Alterkation suspension on here too, you might do a search and see what has been discussed about this. Hope you enjoy the rebuild and please post often any progress or just post anyway!! The discussions get good and lively at times and are a lot of fun!  Sometimes it's :gripe: othertimes it's  depending on the thread topic. Maybe you could put up a poll on the vinyl top, personally I chose to get rid of mine, just looks much sleeker to me but love the original vinyl look too.
