Will you be able to go back to work MEK? I'm sure that must be a major concern for you.
Are you still improving?
Well if you do have time off; we have the Bay to Breakers coming up this Spring.
You should come out and enter. It's quite a specatacle watching the crowds running.
I went back to work January 5th. I figured forcing myself to do my job would be the best therapy. It turns out, I was half right. I didn't figure my body still had some recovering to do. I was sleeping 9hrs. a night, and still was ready for a nap by lunchtime.
Another weird thing that took me a while to put 2 and 2 together. Apparently my lungs were affected by the stroke too. I couldn't figure out why I was breathing so hard when I was running slower than I ever had before. I was started running 31 days after the stroke, so I didn't believe I could lose all my fitness so fast. This all became clearer when I went back to work. I couldn't carry on a conversation with anyone unless they were within 10FT. of me. Yep, I can't raise my voice.
It's better now, but just another thing to deal with.
I would like to do the Bay to Breakers race someday, but I'm afraid I'm still a few month's from racing shape.
