I wish I had a Pittsburgh phone directory for although I can't remember his dad's first name I'm certain I would recognize it if I saw it.  Can ya beleive this.....It's Henry, it absolutely just now came to my feeble brain. Slotts lives in Pittsburgh maybe he can get ahold of Mike's parents, hopefully they can give us some informatin? I'd still approach them causiously, they may not be aware of this either and it would be most shocking to them, they are elderly people. I'll see if I can come up with any number for his parents.

Mike is single and lives alone as far as I know, I have his address but hesitate to post it, any guest could read this and go to his apartment knowing no one is there.    He live in Glen Burne, Md.

I have Mike's information, address, phone etc. no answers. I was attempting to locate realitives around Pittsburgh. There is no listing in the white pages for what I beleive to be his brother, but did call another number there that hopefully is his sister (or some relative) but just got a recording, I left my name and number hopefully they will call me back. I also have just talked with the police dept at Glen Burne and they are going to go out to his apartment to see if his car is there or anyone answering the door. They asked me to call back in an hour if they do not call me first.

     Hannah, I thank you for your post about this. And I will appologize up front............you said Mike contacted you that he had a stroke on Monday and again on Tuesday, and you made this post Wednesday morning. You also said he had to write it with his lft hand and it "looked" dificult for him.  First it would be immpossible for a mailed letter reach you in that time frame, so I'm assuming it was an e-mail. Wether he wrote it left handed or right handed, it being a computer message would not show any "difficulity" as far as appearances with the printed text. I guess I'm confused by your terminololy and I'm also looking for ANY reason this is................ I love mike as a brother, he's actually not that much older than my oldest son. We have personally been in touch ever sense we met at Carlisle in around 2005, we send each other pm's, e-mails, phone calls, christmas cards etc. he even sent me a cd when he and his sister vacationed in Arizona this past year showing me them and the sights they went to. I'm not the "center" of his like or correspondence, nor is April and Joe whom he just visited at Halloween. This is just very puzzling to me and I have an ache in my heart and tears in my eyes for Mike and this condition.  Sorry, I'm just looking for a way it's all a ...............

Hi Everyone.  I got in contact with Mike.  He is in the Hospital and hoping to be released today.  I told him everyone wanted his contact info, but he asked that I don't give out all of his info.  He will probably be going online slowly once he gets home.  His email is mekrunner@aol.com.  Maybe you can all send him a Get Well Soon email to let him know you are thinking of him and prayig for him!

Thanks April, I just got off the phone again with the police dept. And until this morning when I called the dept. there had been no record of any 911 calls from Mike's phone or his address. So he must have either driven himself or a neighbor took him to the hospital. Sounds like Baltimore Washington Medical Center would be the closest to Mike's apartment, when I talked with them they had no record of him being transported there, so that means some pivate transportation was used to get him to that hospital if indeed he is at that location. Damn, this is emotionally sickening. When he gets home, if he will allow us, we will go personally visit him. He means a lot to us. Thanks again April and also again I appologize to Hanna, I was just grasping for straws that there was some confusion as to this happening, sorry Hanna.

I admit when I first saw this post title the other day I skipped over it.  Not knowing what P U S H meant.

This is terrible news!! Mike was the first one on C-C to crack jokes and PM when I first got on this forum. Although I've not met him personally he always seemed like a great guy. And had a much healthyer lifestyle than I do. I wish him all the best and a full and speedy recovery. You are in my prayers my friend!!!

I never did know what the controversy with hannah was about but (if) true I sure am glad she let us all know!!!!

I'm with Niel (chryco).... do we need to get a MEK fund going???

I haven't talked with Mike, first I wouldn't bother him, he'll get in touch when he gets to feeling better. But I have talked to a lil birddie and I guess he was at the gym working out when this happened, so in all likelyhood from that location they took him to the nearest hospital, not neccessarily the one that may have been closer to his home, also explains why when the police went to his appartment this morning after I called them that his car was not there, probably still in the lot of the fittness club he belongs to. So, thaks to Hanna and April we know he is doing better and maybe even get to go home tomorrow. 

Mike, ya lil waskel................get better real quick buddy.       I need a stiff one now because I feel a whole lot better !
