Mike is still in the hospital.  After a stroke you can have brain swelling.  They will not release someone until the swelling is gone, and in Mike's case, there is still some swelling.  He can walk, move his arms and legs but does not have feeling in his right hand.  Hopefully the feeling will return soon.  He told me thathe has read some of the emails.  He just can't respond to them just yet, but Thank You all for writing to him.  Mike is a strong guy and I am sure he will recover from all of this!

Wow, I just got back to our hotel room and this is the first topic I have seen! I feel so bad for him and his family! I will be adding you to my prayers buddy!

Crazy thing is the last topic I read was a couple days about paint cleaning and someone had posted about Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) and made a joke about MEK......

WOW,
This is terrible news. I just read this thread. I'm not on here as much as I used to be. I was at Carlisle this summer and missed seeing Mike although I did see his car displayed at the car dealership. I am praying for you Mike!! I hope it is a quick & full recovery. I do know the quicker treatment is sought the greater the chances for a full recovery. Thanks Hannah for informing us. I'm sorry you've not felt as welcome here as before. I hope that can be remedied!! Mike is a great guy and a real jokester. So I hope they have him in a "pink" room!! Take care Mike and let us know if we can help you out in any way!! :2thumbs:
