I have a friend who would like to find his frist car. He is currently fighting cancer and is not likely in a place to buy it back but would just like to know if it is still out there. Maybe someone on here even owns this car??
Thanks
Mark

One idea: have you checked Barry's VIN list?

Barry will probably check his list to see if he knows of it.

It is a new one to me, sorry.

I will forward a link to Ola at the 1970-71 E-Body Convertible Registry though to make sure he sees it too.

Best of luck to your pal!

Barry

I posted this over on moparts in there General section, they get a lot of traffic over there.  Good luck to your friend on finding the car and curing his illness.

There was a Challenger convertible that looked like that for sale in the Milwaukee area a year or two ago, I don't recall any details about it, or have any info on the seller.  But I do recall an ad for a B5 '70 listed on Moparts or ebay not all that long ago.
BIGSHLUNK is from the Milwaukee area, maybe he'd know something about the car I saw for sale?

Mark, sorry to say I've never seen the car, at least in that color. For example there is a yellow R/T wanna be that I've seen at a few shows. Nicely done, but its NOT an R/T vert its A SMALL BLOCK.  :dunno: could be?? I 've done a fair amount of cruise nights/stopped at shows/mopars at the grove ect. Granted it could still be around here, I  have a buddy or two that rarely take their cars out. And for some reason I'm drawn to Chally verts.. go figure.

If I hear of something I'll let you know!  :2thumbs:
70 Chally R/T Convertible- Yes she's really got a HEMI, no she's not a Charger!

Best wishes for your friend and let him know a lot of other Mopar guys & gals are pulling for him.  Tell him we expect him to get better soon, find his car or a good replacement and join the rest of us here!   Best of luck finding his old car.
