Way to go Nick, I figure by the time your done that 6 pk hood will have what  it's supposed to have sitting under it,lol, I know where there is a rebuilt 383 ( 67 model) +.030 with rebuilt heads, new alumn. intake, new carb, a rebuilt 727, and 2 sets of headers for $1500.00, never been fired, not sure the story behind it but it is only about 50 mile from me, d*amn I'm having trouble staying away from the phone,lol. PROGRESS! Welded up litrerally 1,000 holes in the engine bay. grinded and grinded all day then just shot it with a filler primer.

My dad bought a new 68 RR back when I was in high school, I beat the livin tar out of that car!!! Some fond memories come back when I see that 68 of yours. Here's a picture, the only picture that was ever taken of the car, it just happened to be in the background. Was actually taken of some of my family back then, this was taken some time in early 69 I believe.
Way to go 74!

WOW plum thats awesome ,love those old pics. I always loved the tail end of the 68/69 RR's.
I just ordered all new brake and fuel lines, along with a new gas tank,sending unit, and tank straps.Moving right along. Cant wait to hang the quaters next weekend!

YEs going to stick with red, never had a red car and really like the colro on the RR's.
Dropping my block off next week, and ordering my 451 stoker kit.  :thumbs:

Fenders had some hidden collison work.
I got them down to bare metal today and did the metal work on the worst one. Someone used a dent puller and never welded the holes shut and bondoed the holes over leaving bondo spagetti strings hanging out the back side. :banghead: Well, Not the best work but I did it the right way by cutting out and replacing the metal. Skim coat of body filler and should be good to go. Not bad for a 19 year old kid eh?  :dontknow:
