No way in hell is he gonna get that much for her.  She's a beauty, but she aint gonna bring that much.  Maybe 15-20k.

Oh my,
That is one sweet looking car, but if you want someone to open up with a bid of 39K, why don't you post more than 1 picture  :stomp: Duh. I think he is playing of the fact that there were few 6 banger convertibles. No, I would need at least 8 cylinders to go into the price range. I would totally be shocked to see this sell. :bs: :bs: :bs:

I wouldn't be shocked the way convertible plymouth E's are selling. Just think of it this way. Buy the car for 40K, spend 20K on a Hemi conversion, in my mind it would be worth much more than the 60k invested.

What do you think?

JS27NOB,
Do you really think this would be worth more than 60K if it was a non-numbers matching Hemi? Maybe :dontknow: You might have a point there, but I think I would pass.

Guess I'm not the only one that's thinkin 40K, the car is at 39K right now and the reserve has been met.

If you were to buy a real HemiCuda convertible, what would it cost you?  150-250? Wouldn't 60 be a deal?

Sometimes clones are the best answer.

its funny when people play the 6 cylinder card.  rare does not always mean desireable.

 :iagree: :worthless:
A clone would grab more money but you could get a starter 6 cyl or 318 car cheaper.
Can you imagine showing it at a car show and telling someone "It has a numbers matching 6 cylinder" LAF  :dogpile:
