It's hard to see some of the numbers when there is a lot of paint build-up. 

LNZ...should be EN2...which means "end of codes"

616...should be C16

0033...should just be 000...the door panels cover the entire door so there isn't an upper door paint code

I know J54 is listed as being the sport hood but I don't think that's right.  A book I have lists that code as being "underhood insulation".  You automatically got the sport hood with the A57 Rallye package so there would be no reason to list it separatly on the tag.  J54 was the undercoating package.  That included full undercoating and underhood pad.  You couldn't get the hood pad separatly.

My SPD is 927 (September 27th) but the door sticker says 10-72.

The SPD on the tag is just the "estimated" date that the factory hoped to build the car.  As you can see, my car was built later than they planned since the door sticker was printed in October.

Your car should also have a MDH (month/day/hour) code on the door sticker.  It is believed that the sticker was printed when the car was close to the end of the line.  That code should give you a better idea of when it was accually built.

I like those stripes!  :grinyes:  That dark silver poly is really growiing on me.

My Rallye didn't come with them....  :walkaway:  I contemplated adding them but they wouldn't look right with the body side moulding, IMO, and since it wasn't there originally I would feel weird about adding them.

Looks cool though!  :ylsuper:

as most know my car was rearended by a semi. the claim is now settled so i started tinkering with it this evening. my painter buddy wanted to rent a frame rack to pull the metal out. i used my forklift, chain, jib boom, and my over head hoist. worked great. called my buddy and told him what i did and he was worried but i think it came out ok.

UPDATE well not much progress sofar. need to find a good tailpanel to line the quarters up to. the drivers straighted right out but the passenger is going to take some work. im going for a driver not a show car. here is a pic from the other day

Update!!!!! Ok so shifting gears! Monday im ordering the gearvendors and classic auto air! The car is going to the paint shop to get the tail panel replaced on tuesday. My plans for the car is to get the body work done, and paint it white. Rapter line the trunk, under hood, engine compartment, and under the car. I want to roll the fenders and try to find a taller back tire. Anyone know what the tallest rear tire that will fit? I want to go with a bfg drag radial or similar tires. (current tires are 26" tall) I have thrown the car on the back burner for a while because of weather and other projects. I know   :useless: so here is one of my other projects. Its a 1966 dodge w200 crewcab utiline that i did a body swap with a 95 international 4700 that has a mechanical (p7100 pump) dt466 and a spicer 5 speed and juice disk breaks on all 4.

Bad ass truck!  I used to work for a company that built bucket trucks out of International 4700's.  I've tossed around this very same idea, I just never came across an affordable chassis.  I also love the 60's-early 70's Dodge trucks.  I still miss my 70 shortbed.  They make some fairly good looking "off road" tires for some of the backwoods trucks that would look good on that.  And I think a vertical stack would be cool too.

Sorry to hear about the Challenger.  If you still need a rear panel I have one in the parts bin that I don't need.  Good luck!
