Transfer case question

Does anybody know if there is any difference between t-cases used with 4 speeds and ones used with automatics in late '70s Dodge pickups? Could you take a t-case from a 4 speed pickup and bolt it up to an automatic?

I am thinking you can, if I remember correctly. May want to ask over at
www.ramchargercentral.com
or even the Moparts truck section.

Absolutely, 100% interchangeable. The bolt pattern and input splines are the same; only difference is the front side of the adapter that goes between the trans and t-case. All New Process transfer cases will bolt up.
