My Burnout Pic Autographed By John Schneider!
« on: November 19, 2004 - 03:49:20 PM »
A few years ago, actor John Schneider was at the Mopar "Spring Fling" car show. He drove over in a General Lee replica... a '69 Charger with a Hemi. He was signing T-shirts and model cars and I showed him a burnout photo of my '66 Dart GT. He seemed impressed with it and signed it for me!

Well, he was doing autographs for about two hours, and with his long last name, he probably got tired of writing it so many times!

That's cool Fleet500.  I never got the chance to meet "the Duke Boys", but my uncles were lucky enough to play some poker on the same table as John and Bo (don't know his actual name?).  He said they were really down to earth and enjoyed the company....I just about cried when I found out they didn't ask for an autograph. :banghead: :gripe:

Is John Schneider the one in Smallville on the WB channel? Sure looks like him if it isn't. I've seen portions of that before and asked my wife but she isn't sure either, haven't watched it enough to see the credits to get the name of the guy. I heard the other guy, I don't know his name, who played the other guy in Dukes is pretty messed up with alchohol or something else? Anyway, that's a shame to hear, if John Schneider is the guy in the Smallville show, he's looking great for his age. Anyway, got off on a tangent again.  ;D

I was at that spring fling too and talked to John for a minute or two
'99 or 2000 I believe, the shows all start to blend together after awhile :-\

Anyway he is a heckava nice guy and doesn't mind shooten the bull and talk about his cars

he sure loves '69 Chargers and the one he brought out is an awesome example of a HEMI Gen'l LEE

Since then his career is on the upswing with apearances on several made for TV movies
and of course his character on Smallville

Yep!! 360cuda is on the ball!! John Schneider is the dad on Smallville!! I've got an autographed picture of him as well!!  Tom Wopat (the 'other' Duke Boy) went into Broadway and bombed, then tried some country music and bombed... now I'm not too sure what he's up too... I do know that he DID NOT want to be part of the extra stuff on the Dukes of Hazzard Season 1 DVD... not sure why?! :dontknow: :dontknow:

I thought this was a joke!! :grinyes:

I guess I don't watch WB mutch  :ack:

You learn something every day - On a seperate topic, I bought my Challenger from a small town in Virginia were Cudder was from ( did I spell that right?? ). He is like mayor or something and all of the people think VERY highly of him.
His picture was on the wall of the U-Haul were I was getting a trailer from.
