I still say that the Rodeway Inn next door was decent and the Bob Evans across the street was awesome.

No matter where you go, a sub-$100/night hotel room is gonna have a certain amount of questionability to it.

At least you know that you can party behind the current place.  may not be an acceptable area somewhere else.

I have stayed at the Ramada Limited in Mechanicsburg with a few friends for the last few years.  Easy ride down 81 to Carlisle.

Pay in advance (no cancellations) is under $100 a night, $267 for Thurs - Sunday.  AAA price is $302 for 3 nights.

Nice clean place with continental breakfast and indoor pool.

Partying in the parking lot was not a problem.  Nothing else is around the hotel besides some offices and light industrial. 2 minute ride to route 11 for stores and restaurants.

Here's where we'll be...come on out if you get the hankering to burn something!

If you decide to go this route, we can request to be put near each other.  The lady that runs the place said 90% of their business on that weekend is for the show.

Sorry - I'm late to the party.

My wife and I have been discussing this as well.  We had talked about going into Harrisburg one weekend to look at places (for parking, and outdoor "lounging" space but we've just been swamped every recent weekend with other obligations.

I kinda like the sounds of that Ramada - I can call them to see about a block of rooms if you guys would like.  Any idea of how many people are looking to come this year?
