I haven't had any problems with Paddock but it wouldn't surprise me if they buy their stuff from Legendary.  Bypassing the middle man can sometimes save some cash!      :grinyes:   :grinno:   :grinyes:   :grinno:

Can tell you from experience that Paddock covers do come from Legendary, bought the Charger covers from Paddock and the Chally covers from legendary, actually there was no price break, but believe me a difference is delivery time, of course since I live in between the two it was a no brainer. But the covers come out of NY, go to Indy and then sent to me in Ohio, so straight from NY was faster obviously. And I can also tell you the covers are top notch in quality and are detailed reproductions, not too hard to install either, just don't rush the job and keep the vinyl warm especially this time of year.

Thanks for the info WSM,
I will be heading down that path in about 6 months. I think I will attempt my own covers after reading your comment. What all should we have on hand besides the covers? Any tips now will save a big pain in the butt later.

For the items I am purchasing, I have found Paddock to be higher than other sources. Looks like they have some good quality stuff, but is a bit higher priced than others. Your mileage may vary  ;D

Personally, the hardest part of the job is getting all the old hog rings removed, they are made of some tough stuff, lol. And invest in a quality set of hog ring pliers, don't even attempt the job with regular pliers or a cheap pair. And have someone to help you, an extra pair of hands to help pull evenly at the same time and to help compress the seat bun foam helps a whole lot. And obviously remove the seat mounting frame from the seat itself. Just don't rush, or force the material over the foam.

 The "barn" is my 35x50 storage/shop/weekend home/fun place to hang place, I call it the Mopar Barn which has our 4 cars there, two complete, one in progress and one waiting for some attention, lol. It is located 35 mile from our house and sits on 1 1/2 acres out in the country, but only 5 mile from interstate 70 here in Ohio. For a poor old man it's my humble home away from home, lol.

:grinyes:  Hmmm, how about trading barns! Mine is a real horse barn, no horses any longer so I have many car parts, a 72 Dart I'm parting out and other misc items stored in it, still like to go out and tinker around out there once in a while but it's getting too cold here now. Oh,  :grinyes:  not to get off the thread subject, I have bought a few things from the PADDOCK, my only complaint is that even though some of the prices are competetive, their shipping is pretty high.

I have never ordered from the paddock although I have ordered several time from year one. I think they all get their parts from the same places. The seat covers I ordered for my Red 73 came from Legedary via year one. I agree with sixpack though, the prices are high without the discount and they rape you on the sipping. The last thing I ordered was from jims auto parts and they didn't rape me on the shipping.
