Absolutely stunning.

If mine wasn't a numbers matching survivor, I'd go for those white-faced gauges in a heartbeat.  Did you do the Ammeter to Voltmeter conversion?

Thanks,
No I havent replaced the ammeter, but I did do the starter relay bypass, so the ammeter does not read accurately.
You can see my bypass wire since I ran it straight across the front of the engine. Its the red wire that shows behind the power steering cooler.

the alternator to starter relay bypass.
If you havent heard of it and are still using your original wiring you should definitely check it out. It is a highly recommended safety mod.
Go to the electric section of the forum and search "bypass" and you will find a wealth of info about it.
Basically, its a very simple fix that relieves some if not almost all of the electrical load through the ammeter in the dash and the bulkhead connectors, which are known fire/overheating issues with these older mopars.

Very wise move.  I'm definitely doing the headlight relay bypass on mine.

One more question: I notice you have aftermarket air on your Six Pack.  Did this car start out as a factory air car, or was everything added?  I ask because my '71 Super Bee is a non-A/C car and I'm considering resto-modding it.

Thanks!

its a modern "vintage air" system, and the prior owner replaced the firewall and the dashpad when he restored the car 8 years ago.
The original systems are a PITA to keep running, so unless you have/want an original car you definitely should go with the modern system which are MUCH more reliable and efficient.
And of course the original compressor will not fit under a shaker bubble.

Hi Tommy,
Went to the car show tonite , your car looks great in person.   Tried to introduce myself, but never saw you at your car. Went inside for 1 beer and when I came out, you were leaving.  Maybe next month.  I saw 3 or 4 other Barracudas and a Chally.  Giving me alot more encouragement.
