Most Popular/Valuable Challenger color?

Staying with a color that was available in that year is a good idea.  I will say that in 73-74 you could still special order any color you wanted.  There are a few 73 and 74 Challengers and Cudas that were painted plumb crazy from the factory.  There was one for sale about a month ago on E-bay.  It was discussed on a Moparts thread.

burdar, I am being serious not sarcastic.  I would like to see the build sheet and fender tags for one of these cars.  Was one posted on Moparts?

I'm pretty sure it was a thread in the E-bay/WIW section on Moparts.  There were two pictures I remember being posted.  One was a 74 Cuda in plumb crazy.  I can try to find it tomorrow.

If you see paint code 999, it's the wild card. Means special order and can be ANY color. Purple seems to be the most popular among the 999 cars I've seen.

I use to have a 73 340 4 speed roller Cuda that was a factory purple, white top, white stripe, white interior.  Radio delete, rally dash 3.55 car.  Perfect buildsheet.  999 cars do not spell out what color they actually came.  This was a rough project with alot of original paint.
