yeah, it's that nice set of OEM panels for $380.  After a few messages seller agreed that me and UPS calculator are right and shipping is $54 as panes are smaller than he thought (45x25x10 packed).
It's true that in many actions sellers dont bother to put real shipping cost in the ad.
Thanks for your opinions!

I am glad it worked out. I don't know anything about this seller, but some sellers will try to get away with anything you allow them too.

I'm not saying this is the case with Willard, but there are also plenty of buyers who go into transactions with no understanding of the cost of shipping, regardless of what is advertised in the shipping section.  I sold a collapsible spare inflator bottle and the buyer threatened to report me because she thought the cost was too high.  I had her calculate the shipping and we finally got past the problem.

I would say that about 50% of my Buyers do not read the entire listing.  I agree it works both ways. I like the ones that want to argue with the delivery confirmation and say they never received anything.  :screwy:

You can also ship by Greyhound bus for a fraction of the cost of UPS or FEDEX - AND - they won't destroy your packages. They ship things as big as a full size couch. Cheap.

Not all UPS stores are run by UPS. There are private individuals that run UPS "franchises". They will charge whatever they want. Since they are private, they don't have to adhere to the same regulations the "real" UPS puts out.

UPS tried to screw me over that way too. Every place I called they said that they weren't able to handle something as big as I wanted to ship at that particular facility. So they had me call a facility that just does stuff like that and they wanted to charge me some outrageous fee because they said I would be the only merchandise on their truck. I was trying to ship a set of fenders and they were already packaged, tried to charge me like $400 to send them to arizona if I remember correctly.
