The stud weld puller tool has a different tip available you put on to weld the clip nipples onto the body.

I borrowed my friends stud welder to do that. You just put the flat head rivet into the end and the connecting end to body and zap for a second or less and it's done.

Make sure you call them.
You might need the adaptor that goes in before putting the tip on.

this week I got the welds grinded down. all the sheet metal is now done. there should be a little if no more welding at all to do the car. the interior of the car is all grinded down. body filler has been applied all over the grinned welds. the trunk is all in primer and so is the interior roof and floor. just to sand the body  filler and touch up the primer left and apply the seam sealed of course. after that the interior, engine bay and the trunk get a coat of paint.

Thanks topcat! I actually have that tool i just need to go and get the different tip.

This weekend was like pulling teeth, if it wasnt one thing it was another, the work went straight forward on the car, it was just a busy day with visitors in the shop. I will have pictures up here soon tonight of what was done, but I wanted to make sure everyone can take note that I have fixed all the images thorughout my thread! yay.

I pretty much just spent the entire weekend sanding down the front and rear floor pans and the firewall interior, I absolutely love all the little ridges in the floor pan that I get to sand down by hand! Man I think its time to hire an apprentice lol. We also did a lot of organising parts, or rather got it started and setup a few tables to get them organized.

I have pictures on the way like I said. Im so close to getting paint on this car but yet so far, I dont want to take any short cuts or do 1/2 assed work so I am finding myself going back over things 2 or 3 times before feeling its good enough to move onward.

Sorry guys not much to update. Been very busy once again with life. I did get the interior worked on a bit, its all hand sanding at this point, I know its all going to be hidden underneath the carpet, but I'm making it so it would look great without to. The floor is almost ready for primer. I hired an apprentice to start on the project with me next week to try and speed up this process a bit. There is a lot of hand sanding being needed done. I will also have more pictures for you guys next week too.

Found the hood locks, still looking for the chin spoiler.

Got a lot of prep work done these past few Weeks. We had a ton of seam sealer to do and more to come.
