Alright, well last night I spent 4 hours prep finishing and painting the engine bay. This color is AMAZING! It has such depth and it changes so much with the light (no a color changing paint, but really nice perls). You do NOT get even close to the quality and WOW factor in these cell phone pics, but I hope to get some really nice pics of it posted up soon with the SLR.
Now that the engine bay is done we are moving on to the interior and trunk prep this week. We wont be putting on anymore color this week but when I come back from my next shift (in about 1.5 weeks) I will be painting the interior and trunk aswell!

Please take a moment and send some feedback on what you think of the color choice. Personally Im in love with it I hope you all like it too.

Thanks, I really can't wait to see more color on this car! Which will be in 2 Weeks. The trunk and interior will be all painted along with the door jambs and under the trunk lid. We got the interior and trunk all in final coat of primer. The trunk is sanded down but the interior needs to be sanded before we can seam seal and paint.

I just picked up the doors from RMC Industries. I had them acid dipped, along with the hinges and hood vents.  Now I know for sure there's no rust in those doors.

Alright, I know I have been delinquent on updates. But I will let the pictures do the talking on this latest update.

Ordered the Keisler A-41 4 spd automatic transmission. 4194.00 shipped.
Ordered the 6.1 Hemi Gen III, 70 paintable bumpers, new weather stripping kit, TTI ceramic coated headers, and a bunch of other odds and ends.

Now for the pictures. Oh Im looking for feedback on the black frame rails, whats your guys opinions?

I would definitely paint the frame rails body color. Not only does it look cleaner, it's the way the factory did it.

What color is that? Beautiful. I bet it's gonna really pop in sunlight.

It looks good, but I would have left the frame body color too.   :2cents:

In a way I agree, but being a little bit sensable in this regard, this chassis paint is the most amazing paint I have come accross, not only is is rust proof, but its extremely hard/durable which makes it perfect for suspension areas. And the owner wants to have it that way, its based off the award winning 70 demon that I believe the pictures are in this thread still.

At this point we are trying to get all the suspension and all the other goodies required to get the car off the rotisserie and back onto its own wheels.

The 6.1 Gen III hemi has been shipped with the TTI mounts and ceramic/polished headers and the '70 bumpers and racing mirrors according to dave from Roseville Moparts.
Keisler called to comfirm details today that the A41 is now being built for the car and all I have to do is decide which programer I want to go with.
